Unhappy Nutjob releases animals in Zanesville, Ohio...

Wow, I was actually gunna head down to Zanesville today to pick up some tubs for a new rat rack. Still am, I just never hear about this kind of stuff happening so close to home. BP.net actually has quite a few members that live close to Zanesville. Keep safe everyone!

Such a shame they "had" to put down all those animals. I kind of understand, but its still a horrible tragedy.

So given this guys past, I don't understand how he still retained control of these animals, especially being in jail for a year.

Because the guy was in jail for an ATF warrant where they searched his home and found weapons he wasn't supposed to own.... A weapons charge has nothing to do with owning animals in my opinion especially if he is licensed to do so .... Although Ohio is kinda of a politicians dream for cracking down on responsible exotic ownership as they have had 84 incidents since 1993 http://www.dispatch.com/content/stor...incidents.html

This is just terrible. I commend jack hanna for helping out. He is an inspiration to me. I wish they didnt have to kill them, but they didnt have a choice for others safety. Hope the rest are caught alive and everyone stays safe.
