He is definitely right. Stop moving her for feeding. You will get better results if you feed her in her own space. You can leave a F/T food item over night in front of her hide. If that doesn't end up working, wait until she sheds and try again. If that doesn't work, try live. You can leave rat pups in over night as well since they are too small to fight back, preferably the ones who still cannot open their eyes yet.

So she has eaten 5 small adult and 1 medium adult mouse so far in October? Small prey items, but that is quite a bit of food for her size for the past two weeks. She might be full. Plus going into shed might have her put off feed too. As people have said, your 3 day feeding schedule might be stressing her too much since she is refusing. I would wait for her to shed before offering again. She should be good and hungry by then.

Re: Underweight Snake refusing to eat.

Thats a good Idea. I Skipped the meal I was going to give her on the 15th, and I dont think im going to offer her anything on the 18th either. She's getting closer to shedding and Im going to take your advice and wait until she finished before I try anything else. She's lost a little bit of weight but you very well might be right that ive been feeding her too frequently. Im just so worried about her weight @_@

Ill let you guys know what happens with her eating after she sheds.
