Well Deserved Update on the BPs
Unfortunately, I'm rarely on BP.net anymore due to my new job here in Vegas, but I wanted to share an update on how my snakes are doing.
Please excuse the horrible pictures, my camera broke so all I had was my phone and these lovely, spirited snakes I have refuse to stay still for even one second.
I've avoided "power feeding" them. Each has been eating every 7-10 days and never once has any of them refused a meal since the week I brought each home. I'm quite proud.
First up is Jack Hodgins, my male normal rescue.
When I picked him up he was in a 55 gallon glass tank with fine sand and months worth of waste with no hide and one small, unregulated, sticky heat mat. The keepers admitted to "tossing in" the occasional live mouse, because the entire feeding process "grossed them out".
He weighed in at a mere 360g at four years old.

He's now tipping the scale at about 900g.

(He seriously didn't want to stay still and he's in shed.)
Now, my male Pinstripe, Seeley Booth.
I picked him up from another member on this forum who could not get him to eat no matter what she tried.
When she bought him he was about 1300g and had dropped to 720g over the span of a ten month feeding strike.

He has not refused a single meal under my care and has shot back up to 1150g over the past five months of consistent feeding.

(He also was quite squirmy and is also deep in shed.)
Now, my pride and joy, Temperance Brennan.
She was my first BP and was a rescue from a YMCA where she was a class pet. It took me over one year to convince the keeper to allow me to take her (on good terms with the previous keeper).
She was kept in a ten gallon glass tank on hamster bedding with one half log hide and no heat source. She was fed small microwaved mice from PetCo every few weeks but almost always refused to eat. She was only handled when I came to visit.
At two years old she weighed in at about 250g.

And now, she's finally broken the 1000g mark. She weighed in at 1072g tonight.

I hope to get better pictures once my males have shed.
