    Unhappy Shedding problem?

So my ball python Dakota is in the process of his 2nd shed, I believe. His last shed went well, I had to help him a little by soaking him in a bowl of warm water. This time, it's been about 2-3 days since his eyes cleared up from being that blue color, and it looks like he's having trouble shedding. He's in a 20 gal tank, the warm side includes an under tank heater, with a heat lamp which makes the ambient air temperature about 87 degrees. He has a large water bowl on the cooler side, which he likes to hang out around while he's shedding. Currently he's hiding behind a fake plant that's next to his water bowl. I made a nice hide for him on the warm side, with sphagnum moss on the inside. He hasn't been using it at all though. I also put lots of moss all throughout his cage. I've been misting his whole cage about 3-4 times daily. The humidity gauge always changes from 40-70%, but I don't know how reliable it is considering it's the cheap Petco brand one A few days ago he shed his face off completely in one piece, but the rest of his body is kind of spotty, and it's taking a lot longer than usual. Can anyone tell me what's going on? Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong! Thanks!
Oh, and I've also soaked him a couple times in warm water also.
