    Finally... c'mon albinos!!

I tried pairing my het albinos last season, but there was no interest on their part. I decided to try again this week, and after a day of "ehhhh, I dunno," they finally locked! Hopefully that means I'll get albino/s this season, which is something I've wanted for a LONG time (even before I had snakes). FYI, these are guaranteed 100% high-contrast hets from Justin Kobylka, and the male is unique with that banded/reduced pattern... so I expect pretty babies from these two.

    Here's the lock:

And the pair, from last year when they weren't interested:

If I get a female visual from this clutch, I might be willing to sell you Rosalind... she's a live or p/k rat-only eater, though, and I know you prefer the f/t feeders. But I've been getting her p/k rats from Pets & More, so it wouldn't be too much of a hassle for ya.

I realize most people would keep a visual male & the het female, but I just love Orlando's pattern too much! Plus, Rosalind isn't the nicest snake in the world. She's never actually bitten me, but does hiss up a storm at times.

My het female is a little nasty too! She bit me when she was a baby! My hets did nothing last year too! I bought a visual male so I hope they lock up this year! Good luck with yours! Hopefully next spring/summer, we can compare our beautiful Albinos!!!

I hope so!! Can't wait to see a little white & yellow face peeking out at me.

Btw, I've heard more than one person discussing nasty hets... I swear there's something to that, so maybe we should do a study on it? LOL

i think i can deal with p/k. I might build a gas chamber or do that dry ice box for p/k. As long as she doesn't bite and just hisses, I'm cool lol. I need to get my albino on rat pups soon so he can gain some size though.

Very nice. I just paired up some of mine tonight just to see if it is time here. How long did it take them to lock up?
