Blessing in disguise?
So I was supposed to pick up my rescue bp tonight but unfortunately the owner had to cancel/reschedule. At first I was disappointed, however now that I'm looking at the big picture, I think it's a blessing in disguise. I have my tank all set up however, as some of you know due to my previous posts, I'm having some trouble raising the temps past 80. I know this is not an ideal temperature, just an "ok" one to say the least. Now that my little dude isn't coming home tonight, this gives me time to reconfigure my tank and see what I can do to make it perfect!
Which got me thinking. What is everyone's opinion on the best/easiest set-ups for their snakes? Tanks? Tubs? Bins? Racks? lets hear em!

I use both tubs and tanks and tubs are by far easier. My tubs have a very basic setup: paper towels, 1 hide and water dish. I have my KSB and one of my RTBs in tanks. I find it's much easier to keep humidity up in tubs over tanks, but tanks are much nicer to look at.
You need to find what will work best for you though.

I have both. My tubs and Display setup are easiest to maintain temp. But the display is a petstore display. Has a blower/heater that circulates air throughout the setup. Tubs are easier for humidity though. Tanks are nice but hard to control unless you cover 60-75% of the top.

I have tubs. While they'really not flattering to look at, they reach the ideal temps really easily.

I find tubs much easier than tanks, for numerous reasons. First of, you dont have to make it in any way aesthetically pleasing, because its all blocked off anyway. Thus you don't need to focus on any intricate details and furnishings. You can do with much less furniture too both because aesthetics does not need to be so great, and more importantly, your ball python is mostly already pretty comfortable not being able to see more than 3ft away. Less things needed to cover it up and give him security.
Cleaning, thus, is so much easier. Not to mention that a tub can be taken out, tipped over and emptied, refilled easily. Maintaining husbandry conditions are pretty much the same for me, not very much difference, but, as mentioned, only with a non mesh top or covered top. And unless of course you are trying to compare an all glass tank and a full rack with heating at the back (much more insulation).
