    I'd give her as long as you'd give a bp or any other reptile to adjust before interacting too much. Also, if it's still warm enough to take her outside for a little bit a few times a week (above 65) I'd suggest taking her out--even though it means handling her a little. Other than that, hands off for a few more days.
    Also, if you haven't already, joining tortoiseforum.org would be a great idea--lots of people with tons of experience and really gentle advice.
