Did Albino Balls get super expensive for some reason?

I havent confirmed how much Albino Ball pythons go for at snake shows, but I was looking on Constrictors Unlimited and Theyre selling Albinos for like 500 Dollars. I was almost positive Albinos generally ran between 100-150. Is this not the case?

I have yet to see an albino ball python go for $100-150. Males are generally around $350 and females are anywhere between $400-500.

I think males are usually in the 300 range and females are 400-500.

A good high contrast Albino female would go for $500.

Actually, for a recessive animal, those prices are quite reasonable. As little as a few years ago, albino's were selling for well over $1000.

I was going back through my receipts and records looking for something and came across my Albino purchases. In 2007 & 2008 I paid between $800 and $1000 for mine (one male and two females). They produced this year and they will be priced between $300 and $400. Doesn't look like I'll make my money back this year on the treo. But, then again, I'm holding back three females for future projects.
