    clutch odds?

I picked up a male piebald and a female that is a 66% her pied but supposedly the markers on her make her look alot higher of a percent I guess. If these two bred what would the clutch odds look like?

    Thanks

If she proves out to be actual het, each eggs percent would be 50% normal 100% het pied and 50% visual pied. Good luck...if she's 66% het, the markers don't make the chances any higher. The only way to know is to breed, good luck!

Here's a genetics calculator...make sure you change the species to Ball Pythons.

Your precentages are double what they should be.

Het X Het gives per egg:
    25% visual
    50% het
    25% normal

This is also how you get your 66% hets because every 2 out of 3 normals resulting from the clutch should statisically be hets.

    Good luck breeding you hets.

Here is a good calculator for BP morphs: http://www.worldofballpythons.com/wizard

Well they are correct if you are working with 200% probability.

    Because I can't read.

But visual to het gives per egg:
    50% visual
    50% het

lol, she was right but with all the % I had to read it twice to get it.

If she proves out to be actual het, each eggs percent would be [50% normal 100% het pied] and [50% visual pied]. Good luck...if she's 66% het, the markers don't make the chances any higher. The only way to know is to breed, good luck!
