My big normal lady does this. She is a wicked killer and doesn't give a meal a chance to blink before its in her coils.
But they know the difference between their own kind and a mouse/rat.
In my exp. With the fiesty ladies, they watch you place him in and as soon as they see him slithering in her tank/tub she's gonna start scenting and slithering quickly IF SHE IS INTERESTED.
