Comfirmed a female P. bara (subfusca low land)

Confirmed another female today. The Poecilotheria bara (low land form of the subfusca) that I got in my birthday order as unsexed but I thought looked female was confirmed as a female today. I jacked up the molt when I was messing with it to get a good picture but you can still see the flap indicating female if you know what you are looking for.

This was her when I got her last week:

So far I got two confirmed females out of my birthday order (The other being the Hapalopus sp. Columbia - Pumkin Patch). I still think the Lampropelma sp. Borneo black and the OBT I got are going to be females also but I have to wait for a molt to see about those two.

In unrelated news my Xenesthis immanis molted and I am hoping to get some good pics of him when he hardens up and my Megaphobema mesomelas is in pre-molt. I am dying to know what my M. mesomelas is. At times when I look at a ventral view I swear female but other times I think it could be a possible male so I would just like to know for sure if I can. Anyways, thanks for looking

Thanks Alexa!!!!!! I hope your immanis is a female!!! I am very sad mine is a male but at least they look better then the females so I can get some good pics of him for as long as he is around. I like them A LOT so of course I wanted a female so I could enjoy it's company for a long time to come you know. I will just have to buy another at some point and hope for a female but not a top priority at the moment unless I happen across a killer deal or something which is doubtful. You will have to let me know how you make out with yours though
