it was one week after a buddy of mine was murdered at work...don't think she could handle the thought of me being murdered at work, so she ran...

I honestly don't think that was the reason why she high tailed it, it was probably another reason....but that's just an outside view. Personally, that's not a very good, or reasonable, reason to leave someone. But if that was the reason then she is very, very selfish.

To the OP: I don't she's into you anymore, she might have found someone else.
