Honestly, with mice, it's the luck of the draw.
I have put together groups of 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 and have seen no activity at all. I have one tub with 1.10 put together randomly and they are banging out babies like there's no tomorrow. No fighting. No eating babies. All of the moms nursing like crazy. Big fat babies. Go figure.
