    Markers are not 100% reliable there are het pied with markers there are some without, there are also normals with markers very similar to the pied markers.

    An animal should never be bought based on the presence or markers.

    Now how do you know whether or not the animal you bought is indeed a Het Pied or any other type of het for that matter? By buying from a REPUTABLE breeder that stands by his animals and will guarantee the genetics. (Those are the real markers )
