    Venting... Grrrrr!

So I just need to vent...

Finally decided on what I want to breed my lesser to when he grows up; A lesser bee. So I find a really nice one for sale, for a decent price... Spend yesterday and today emailing back and forth with the guy. Send him the final email saying hey, what's your paypal, I'll send the money... Then receive a reply that oh, sorry, I think I'm going to keep her, and breed her later. Sorry to do that to you.

Seriously? That's kind of messed up. You want to keep your snake, fine, that's your business. But don't jerk someone around for a whole day, commit to the sale, and then pull a number like that.

Sooooo frustrating. Ruined my whole damn evening. Ugh!

Customer service skills are lacking for many people. It's isn't fun when a deal goes sour.

Thanks guys! Wasn't really a "bargain" by any means... It was a fair price, I just really liked that particular one. That, and it's the getting jerked around that I'm most annoyed with. Oh well. Hopefully another one will come along soon.

Look at it this way - I bet there's an even sexier lesser bee out there waiting for you to find her!

That's too bad. I have found with some of the hobby breeders and even a few of the bigger breeders I have encountered that their "Customer Service" skills are lacking. I think that customer service is one of the biggest factors in operating any business. That being said, I have never initiated the sale of a snake only to be told that it is not for sale anymore. Kinda messed...

I've had that happen a lot with cars I like. Talk for a while settle on a price, go to put a down and suddenly the car is sold or not going to sell....just irritating.
