How much for a check up?
As in a basic physical? And how often should I take my BP in?

Re: How much for a check up?
You may have to check with your vet or on their website about how much it is for a visit. My vet charges $58 for the visit.
Snakes aren't usually an animal you have to have regular vet checkups for like you would do for a cat or dog. It's only really necessary if your snake has come down with some kind of illness or something that cannot be treated at home. Although it is good to have some kind of checkup to reassure yourself that you have a healthy snake.

It really depends on the vet, prices really vary on this.
As for if you should take yours in, it again depends. If you can find a good reptile vet that will see an animal in an emergency situation then there really is no need to take yours in.
Around where I live a normal physical cost around $70-80 and all they do is weigh the snake and open their mouth. They are just checking the general overall condition of the animal. To me that's not worth the money since I can do that myself. It's up to you if you want to do it, unless the vet you want to use won't see your BP without a healthy physical first.

Calling herp vets in your area is the only way to get an idea on pricing.

Re: How much for a check up?
I wasn't asking for anything specific, I just wanted to know the average price range people see; It's neither listed on the vet's website nor identified by the staff when I try to call (Yeah, not very helpful) :/ Thanks, though.

If the staff don't know then they probably are not a reptile vet. I would try to find someone who has experience with reptiles.
