I almost purchased one off amazon for $100, but asked a few friends who have tried them and the consensus is that they drop a lot before starting to heat again and get too hot before starting to cool. I do not know this as first hand experience but trust the people it has happened to. It is the same exact unit that other people sell (ie., reptipro 5000). It is simply a small fridge that they incorporated a heating unit into. They may have had faulty units, but I would at least put a few of my own known thermometers in there and invest in a temp gun.
