Boa digestion
I know boa's digest slower then balls so I would like to know how long on average it takes your boa to digest a nice sized rat and lose the bulge.

It depends I think on how active your boa is. I wait until mine defecates to feed again, I do the same with my balls. For my boas usually 6-7 days sometimes longer. With my balls its 2-3 days approximately.

My boa's usually lose there bulge by day 3. I normally feed them every 7-10 days depending on the size of boa that I am feeding. I just make sure that I am feeding the appropriate size meal to them.

If the bulge is HUGE, then your over feeding. Should leave a SMALL noticeable bulge and thats it. Boas do not need to be fed but every 7-10 days. Grow them too fast and youll have an overweight snake with a small head to a large body(pin head effect).
