Calico caught in the act

I'm looking forward to this guy going for me this season and wanted to feed him a little extra. He's been in blue so he skipped his last meal. I caught him today peaking out at me while feeding my other ball pythons, and figured that he shed already and it was covered by his hide. After downing 2 small rats, I peaked in to see if he had finished the second one and found him doing this:

Haven't caught mine shedding yet, but I've only had him for two. He's in blue now, sooo
