well that was some good info from bluerosy. but my snake never did this (granted he was only about 2' when he past), but yeah try the mouse, and if that doesnt work maybe try a live or stunned one (im assuming you feed f/t) and if that doesnt work then he is probably too busy trying to find a non-existent mate
