Haha... fancy seeing you here!
And actually, I wouldn't be opposed to you taking him - especially if you'll take Betty the brat as a package deal.

Thanks! I agree she's pretty cool looking, and will most likely be keeping her... unfortunately I'm fairly certain it's a girl, so breeding back to mom won't happen (at least not directly).

Btw, can I ask you guys a totally random question (don't want to start a whole new thread)... how long is TOO long for a pipper to stay pipped? My little boobie-baby is STILL in his egg, very much alive and alert, but has been like that for almost 3 days. It's driving me crazy!! His yolk is basically gone, can't see any wrapped umbilicus, so WTH?

He'll come out. Just make sure the fluid in the egg stays clean. If it starts looking off kr getting smell then you have another problem. People that cut often have babies in the egg for over 5 days depending on when they cut. So 3 isn't bad. As long as he looks good and you don't see any threatening issues he'll come out in his own. Just keep and eye on the fluid. It builds bacteria after awhile easily. A good flushing may be in order.

It does smell kinda funky in there, but it has since the last week or so of incubation - not sure why, since the eggs were obviously fine. If he doesn't come out before I go to sleep, I'll go ahead and flush it... how should I do that? I don't have distilled water or saline on-hand.

Just checked on him, and there's basically NO fluid left... he's 110% ready to come out, just taking his sweet time.
Btw, he's been PEEKING for 3 days - cut for almost a week. So that's why I'm getting annoyed with the little snakelet!

I'd be annoyed to. If there's no fluid a good Thing to do may be to add some distilled water or saline. Anything to keep things nicely moist and hydrated.

He finally came out... a whopping 35g (actually bigger than I predicted), with a slightly swollen and purple-ish belly. Hoping that's just because the yolk was too much for his little body.
