    Winter time is coming..

Ok. Here is the deal winter is coming and it gets cold around here. Can stay below freezing for weeks at a time.

But where I currently house my breeders in the shed. It stays cooler the amibient air temperature because of the trees/shade. Well the shed is un powered so I cant place a heater in there.

I was thinking since I live in a doublewide and under neath the house I can move around good.

So my question is... would it be ok to house my colony underneath the house? It does stay warmer under there in the winter, and summer is usually cool and moist. Would the dampness cause any health issues or should I find other arrangements?

I think without any heat you might see colds, uri, etc and a huge drop in production. Is there no way you can move them to a heated area?

I'd perfer not to have them inside due to the stink of them. I do have a spare closet but I wonder if the smell would leach through the rest of the house? I also thought about putting a space heater out in the shed.... but Im a little leary of running about 200 feet of extension cord and having a space heater plugged into it. Knowing my luck the shed would burn down.

Wonder if I made a carbon scrubber would it remove the stink if I placed them in the closet?

I tgink if you kept it clean enough you'd be fine. I currently have around 60 breeders in my basement and an always changing number of feeders. But I also hired a kid to come clean them every other day. Soo....
