People that cut often have babies in the egg for over 5 days depending on when they cut. So 3 isn't bad. As long as he looks good and you don't see any threatening issues he'll come out in his own. Just keep and eye on the fluid. It builds bacteria after awhile easily. A good flushing may be in order.
It does smell kinda funky in there, but it has since the last week or so of incubation - not sure why, since the eggs were obviously fine. If he doesn't come out before I go to sleep, I'll go ahead and flush it... how should I do that? I don't have distilled water or saline on-hand.
