I fed him again yesterday and he took it with no problems. Glad I didn't freak him out too much when I pulled the tail out on the last one. Seems like he's going to be ok with f/t instead of live. Thanks for the good info everyone & I'll be staying out of it in the future. Frontwards, backwards, or sideways, I'll let the animal figure it out.
