I use Ranco in a snake room that is 20 X 12 and I can tell you that the fluctuation is no higher than 2 degrees.

The key in my opinion is to strategically place your probe in the middle of said room, place your heater adequately also and place some fans in the corners to circulate the air and avoid hot spots.
