Thats so weird! we adopted our MBK and almost a month later with her shed she had white scales almost in the shape of a messed up lightning bolt! funny, some snakes just change like that.

I would love if he got more of them and they actually formed a pattern, that I would like. It'll be interesting to see if he gets more or how big this spot will get.

I'll need to get a pic of my males spot, and see if it grows in time. Hes got just one little tiny black spot near his vent, it will be intereting to see if it grows in time or if he develops more.
    DC Reptiles.com coming soon....

My high-white female (Kahl line) has a single scale that is black. She's an 08' and I don't think anymore will develop, but it would be neat if some did.

To the OP, I like the larger, 4-scale spot!

I have a dinker female who is gaining a piece of pattern in her white flame I dont think it is just pieds but cool none the less.. maybe we just notice it more on the pieds because they lack so much color to hide the small changes

I was thinking of that myself. Of course pieds or white snakes are easy to tell if patterns change. thats cool that you noticed! I dont suppose you have any pictures of the difference?
