caging question

Is a 30"L by 12" wide by 8" high to big of an enclosure for a baby and or juvenile bp?

Yes it is too big for a baby or juvenile ball pythons. I keep juvenile ball pythons in 16qt tubs and babies in a 6 qt. Ball pythons like small spaces because they need to feel secure.

Are you talking a cage or a tub? If its a cage as long as you have good ambient temps in there and a good hide or two your fine. 6 qt hatchling tubs are ideal if you have a rack system but if you have one snake theres no reason for a rack.

This is the enclosure. I'm only getting one snake as a pet. I figured if I put a bunch of branches and stuff he might fine in this.

I wouldn't put a baby/hatchling in there but a juvi should be fine as long as it has lots of brush to hide in and its two identical hides.

Yea that will be fine. Just make sure you get a thermostat and keep the temps good and youll be fine with that

After seeing the picture I agree it will be fine. For some reason I thouht it was a lot bigger.
