    First baby's are hatching!!

The day finally came! Out of four eggs, two really interesting normals are out with what look like either two black pastels still in the eggs or one black pastel and one mojo still in. I PROMISE PROMISE I WILL GET PICS UP TONIGHT AFTER WORK BUT GOTTA RUN OUT THE DOOR.

Quick question tho.. Do u all wait until they are all out before putting them in the wet paper towel tub(s)? Or as soon as one comes out do u rinse it off and immediately put it in? Also, do u all put them together in the same paper towel tub together or do unpublished them all in separate ones? Water Bowles also? Or do they get enough water from the paper towels?

Like I said, first timer so sorry bout all the questions thank u all again! Can't wait to show them off tonight!!

Oh, and my upmost condolences to the team over there at PE's. Solo devastating and sorry about that situation. How horrible.

    Congrats!!

No expert here - But from research and reading posts. Put each hatchling in their own tub (6qt) with paper towl and a water bowl. Taking them out as they hatch or all at once it up to you.

One of the established breeders will chime in soon...

You can rinse them off with warm water and out them all in the tub together. They humidity of the tub with wet paper towels will be enough for them. And once they shed u can separate.
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.

Once they all start pipping (or hanging their heads out of the egg), I move the eggs to another container with a wet paper towel and a small water bowl. They will come out on their own, then I discard the empty egg as they leave the egg. You can rinse them off if you wish, or leave them alone. I normally rinse them and sex them and leave them together. The reason I rinse them is it gives me a chance to give them a good look to make sure everything looks OK. I leave the box in the incubator until they shed.

Once they shed, I move them into my baby racks. I usually offer their first meal a couple of days after I move them to the baby rack.

    Looking forward to the pictures.
