Look into corns or kings: I have my king in a tub but he's very inquisitive and active and my corn is in a 20L (will probably last him for his life unless he turns out to be naturally larger than usual) and he loves to hang out on his branches and is always visible. With the large amount of morphs to choose from for each I think they could be a good bet for you.
