panda pied, How many now?

If I remember correctly, the Panda didn't have any spots as a hatchling....I could be wrong though. I take it you are assuming the Super Cinny Pied would not have the spots as the Panda? My Pewter Pied girl only had the head cap as a hatchling but has developed random BLACK spots as it has grown. She is just over a year old and 1300 grams now. I don't think the black spotting is in any way at all exclusive to the Panda. I am pretty sure the pic of that Cinny Pied is a very young animal....and still has plenty of time to develop black spots. This is a little different than having large black spots as the panda.
The cinny pied only had head pattern, thus it is probably safe to assume the super cinny only would have head pattern as well, even if it did get a little bit of spotting eventually, it most likely would not look like the panda did. However the panda had no head pattern, which makes me wonder even more.

I honestly do not believe there are any other Pandas out there. The reason being, is the amount of black produced on the first one. I think some consider it another dead-end project. I do not. I think once the Enchi is added it will open up an entire new world of Pied combos. I have to say, as exciting as it was to hatch the first 3 Pewter Pieds in the world, I was a bit disappointed in the lack of color and pattern. I am hoping to get my Enchi boy up to size this winter and give him a go at the Pewter Pied girl....especially since he is a 66% pos het as well. Not to mention, I have a pretty good shot at producing some amazing animals from Pewter Pied X Pewter het Pied this season. I'm sure they will be mostly white animals but I'll have to deal with it I guess.

Well, the panda has gotten extra spotting over the years, so I assume it probably happens with both, but I'm just referring to the base morph produced, and not the spotting or browning that the morphs go through. It is interesting though, that yours did that too.

The pics I have seen of panda all indicate that it was born that way, but I am unsure. It has however not browned out yet.

snakelab- my comment to you was made because you said "there is only one." That is pretty definitive. It would be better to say "I only know of one" or "there is probably only one."

The only reason I am being adamant about that is because I did see one comment that mentioned producing pandas, but no confirmation and no pictures, so it is on the more doubtful side, but I'm not going to just say "There are no pandas but one." as you did.
