    Frozen mice in bulk?

Anyone know a good / inexpensive store online to purchase hoppers in bulk? I've been getting mine from Petco but I figure it would just be easier/ less expensive in the long run to buy in bulk. Thanks.

None of my concern but I would suggest switching to rats.

There are several frozen rodent suppliers, depending on where you live.
    Check out what's available at

Thanks for the site. Why do you suggest switching to rats?

Rats just provide a better meal, especially as your BP grows. Mice will do fine while they are small, but you'll have to feed multiple mice as opposed to a single rat to keep your BP full and happy once he/she is big.

I use rodentpro.com when I buy online. I also pick up frozen rats/mice in bulk at reptile shows.

    Re: Frozen mice in bulk?

It is just what I do, I put mine on rats so that way I don't gotta worry bout switching them from mice to rats. Also if they start to deny rats ( I don't know if anyone has had this problem but IF they did then this kinda prevents it) you don't have to worry bout feeding multiple mice to = 1 correct size mouse.... I don't know if this is good advice I am still rather new.

I use Layne Labs because they sell the smallest quantities. I also started with mice. When I switched to rats everything went better.

I never thought of it that way. Seems logical. I may start doing that. Since I'm feeding him hoppers what size rat do you think I should feed? A fuzzie or pup?
