she is at 100g and it has always been the same section, about 4 to 6 inches and as I said, no change. Never red or brown and no shedding problems either.

It could be just the way they grow or it could be scars from belly rot or a burn. I've never seen something like that.
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.

Thats what I was thinking. The only thing I know about her is that she was found in a shoebox under a bed in an apartment that was vacant for 3 months

Shoe box under the bed!? how awful... I saw some photos of something similar, and they said it was belly rot. Is she okay otherwise?
aw, I just want you to know that I really admire you- taking in the rescues. I am so glad that you are knowledgeable and caring enough to do it. One day when I have the space I would love to follow your example. Did you take any classes or do you just know stuff by experience?

Looks like scars to me too, but then again it's hard to say and I'm no expert. If you've had her for awhile and she's otherwise healthy I wouldn't worry about it too much.

For the 100 grams though, did you mean that when you got her a year ago she was at 100 grams or did you misspell it and mean 1000? Just curious

I hope they aren't scars, they look rather cool and I'm hoping its genetic and can be passed to offspring lol.

It has the appearance of scale rot though its hard to se clearly in the pics but if it was scale rot i would imagine it would have got worse. Could very well be scarring due to a burn. But hey good job growin it up and keepin it healthy
