How long did you have your first before you got another?

My current housing situation only allows for one, but one day...

I started slow. I had my first BP for almost 4 years before I got another snake but not because I didn't want one. I picked up 3 more between June and August and I'm going to the Hamburg PA show on 10/15 and may get more if I can find good deals...

I got my first BP as a rehome from a friend a few years ago. A nice large normal female.
Ive had corn snakes and kingsnakes before but never a BP.
then I got interested in them and read up on breeding and saved some money and I boomed into my collection. In 6 months i got 12 snakes. Now Im all full up unless I build another rack lol which i might break down and do.
    they are VERY addicting!

I started slow as well. Had my first normal girl for about 5 years before I decided to get another one. Of course, my mind frame has changed from having an awesome pet to breeding so there might be some correlation.

I got my first Last December. By March I built a rack and bought 2 more. April brought along another, and finally this week I added a boa.

    But it's not addicting.

I have always love reptiles and wanted one for a long time, but in high school my parents wouldn't let me. I got pregnant and married very young and my ex husband was a controlling...er...guy...and wouldn't let me get one. I finally realized Jan of this year that I have nothing holding me back from getting one. I came home with my little Julius in Jan, I now have 8 ball pythons, 1 boa, 1 rat, 2 hermit crabs, and 1 tarantula (a.versi) lol. It's an addiction for sure. I remember telling my co-workers "I only want one!" hahahaha

I've always loved reptiles and had the random pet through the years. As a kid I used to go searching for reptiles and finding turtles in the NJ meadowlands was a pastime. I had a bearded dragon through most of my time in college. But because of school and living with my parents, I never went further than that. Now I'm done with school and have my career started, so last fall I was like "what am I waiting for?" So here we are 8 ball pythons (soon 10) and 4 hognoses later.. Lol..
