I can take pics of the can if you like, but it states clearly on there not to spray a bare tank, but its def on there. .

This is true. I just looked at my can (the PAM, not my butt, lol.)

Lol... last post was in 2009, and in the OPs defense, he stated he had a house fire and was in the process of building a rack. The 20 gal was temporary.

Never used the stuff but when I had mites in the past. I stripped the tank put paper towels in and used a very very diluted bleach to water formula the vet gave me. It dries in like 5-10 minutes and you spray the tank down then wipe up and let it sit.. ( Mean while give your snakes a bath. ) Then in a 5 gallon bucket soak all their stuff. Branches,hides, etc... In a bleach to water formula and let it dry.

Ummmmm, the label of the Provent-A-Mite can says NOT to use it on an empty cage container, but to spray it in the substrate. That's how I use it, but I'm never sure how long I have to wait until it's dry, so I'm usu. waiting about 5-10 min before I put the snake back in...just to be safe.

to be safe I wait an hour - I can usually still smell the PAM after 30 min.
