Yeah, if you are prepared to ship you shouldn't have any problems at all if you provide quality papers for their lineage. Pictures of copulation should help the sale as well.

I think I have good quality. My female Pieds and my male Clown het Pied came from The Snake Keeper. Beautiful animals! I have a male Yellow Belly het Pied coming from J.Kobylka Reptiles on Wednesday. So much pattern on his belly, I'm going to call him Checkers!

yesdepends on the market and what your offering and everything. Iexample I got 3 het albionos and i not been able to move them at all this time. This is mainly cause I am a newer breeder which makes me an unknown source/ trust issue. I can't compete with the breeders that got the rep and long standing history.

I dont know if I will ever set up to ship, maybe in a couple years.
Best thing to do is network in your area, get to know everything about everyone that owns/breeds around you.
I already have several planned sales and trades worked out for clutches that are still a year or two out. Me, personally I would rather trade a couple for the one I want or to bring new blood in.
The point is start lining up outlets and get to know your area first, then you can expand.

I disagree with this. Yes, quality morphs will sell, but lousy examples will sell just as well, but for a lower price. I have seen tons of posts were people say something like, "Look at the deal I got on this (morph)!" when it is a poor example of the morph. People are always looking to buy something cheap.

i breed strictly to make morphs i cant afford and because i enjoy breeding.
but you must be able and willing to keep everything you produce just in case you cant sell them. it can be laborious and costly if not prepared.

I agree about pet stores and friends, good resources. I already have two good places to place BP's that I'd like to keep in the area. My local pet store will buy and they take good care of their animals.
After the feedback I've gotten here, I don't think I'll have any problems. Like you, I'm doing this for the joy of breeding and creating animals I couldn't afford to buy. Their welfare will always come first. I'll take responsibility for every animal I produce.

Isn't that the truth! I was a tropical fish importer some years ago. I started out importing quality fish. Then people would complain about the price. To finish selling out of a line, I'd have to cut the price. So next time around, I'd buy cheaper fish to sell at the cheaper price. Then they'd complain about the quality! But they'd still buy the cheap fish.
