Tutorial: Posting Pictures

Hi

By the looks of it alot of people have problems with posting pictures,so i decided to make a small tutorial.

I marked the "important" things in red

Step 1:uploading the picture(s)

One of the easiest sites to upload multiple images is http://photobucket.com/

To use the site you first of all have to register on the site



Once you made your account its time to upload your pictures

If you press the green button on top of the page it will bring you to screen shown below



Then just select the picture(s) you want to upload in the folder you stored them
To select multiple pictures click on 1 pictures then hold the CTRL button on your keyboard until you selected the pictures you want.
When you selected the pictures you want you can release the CTRL button



Succes! The picture(s) is/are uploaded to your account
Press the blue button to save all your pictures to your standard album and continue.

Step 2: posting your pictures on a forum

Now to put your pictures on a forum.

Hover your mouse over the pictures until you see all the image-codes underneath

Just click on the IMG code in the white/beige like square when it says copied you just have to post it.



To paste in into your textbox click in the box and press CTRL+ V on your keyboard

Your text should look like this



You need to rinse and repeat the Step 2 for each image you want to upload

Then just submit reply and your picture will be visible for everybody!

Now for images you dont have on photobucket

Doing these images isnt to difficult either just a bit harder

I will use http://www.constrictors.com/ as a example

Lets say i wanna show the picture on the frontpage to everyone on the forum

Right-click on the picture and press view image



Doing that will bring you to this screen



Click on the URL (shown in red) untill it appears blue



When its selected(in blue) press CTRL + C to copy the URL

In the Textbox of the forum(where you type your stuff in) you press CTRL + V



To make the picture Visible you need to add 2 taggs

The first tag is [img] wich needs to be put in before the URL
The second tag is [/img] wich needs to be at the end of the URL

When you have done this your text should look like this



Then just press submit reply and the picture will be visible in your post
To do more images just rinse and repeat
