Question bp suddenly very active all the time

My bp is around 4 yrs old. I have had her pretty much all her life. Just recently she starting coming out of her hides and searching around the cage all the time. I see her out at night, in the middle of the day, early morning, late evening.....etc She was never like this before. She did have a red bulb over her tank and it blew and all i had was a regular bulb so i used that....this behavior started maybe a week afterwards....i have used regular bulbs before and she never acted like this....so im not so sure its the bulb.. I did buy those yellowish colored bug bulbs....so it wouldn't be as bright for her. I do plan on getting a blue or red bulb soon though. Since she never acted like this before with a bright bulb I am wondering if it isn't something else stressing her out. Nothing else has really changed recently or anything...so I don't know. She is eating normal too. Any ideas?

I would get another red bulb. The light from the current bulbs could be causing stress, especially if you are using them at night.

I see you are up north.. It's starting to cool off down Here so I'm sure it is up there too. And with a snake that old she's probably feeling frisky with the cooler temps. All mine have started acting crazy since the last two cold fronts... Welcome to breeding season. They start acting crazy, I start pairing.

yeh, i got 2 infrared bulbs, 1 which is 75w, and 1 100w bulb. I use the 75w during the summer, but it is starting to get colder here in new york and im almost about to have to bust out the 100w, but always keep spares just incase, as a matter of fact in the next reptile expo im gonna pick up 2 more bulbs just incase, and another UTH, there so cheap there u cant go wrong....
