I snapped a few pictures of Ari's clutch. We are very excited.

Bumblebee 2

This season has taught me that ball python eggs are much tougher than we give them credit for. I had one clutch fall out of the incubator, having one egg split open and 4 out of 5 of those babies hatched. Irene came through and knocked out my power for 5 days and the incubator had no power. A clutch with a few days to go and a clutch with almost 3 weeks to go survived constant temperatures during those 5 days of around 75 and all have hatched pretty much on time.

And I'm loving my odds this year. I'm hoping at least one of those bumblebees is a female. If so, raise her up for a few years, produce a male axanthic next year and I'm on my way to axanthic killerbees.
