Going to a psychic fair, share your experiences if you have them!

I know there aren't a lot of people who believe in this stuff, go ahead, flame on I have never been to a psychic or anything of this sort, but I'm excited just to experience it and see what happens! There will be a medium/psychic, a tarot card reader, a numerologist, and a reiki. I don't exactly understand what a reiki is, but I suppose I'll find out! My mom, sister, and I are all going this Saturday. It's a great price and it's located at our local haunted inn. Several paranormal teams have gone through the inn, including a team from one of our state colleges. I also used to work with the numerologist and she is an awesome gal!

All I can think about is the Family Guy episode where they make fun of Lois for going to the psychic, lol.

Has anyone else ever been to something like this? What did you think?

Never been to a fair, but I'm a Reiki Master. Reiki is a form of energy healing, to put it simply. It's very relaxing. Try it if you get a chance!

With the other stuff, it's kind of subjective. Like anything else out there in the world there are people who are honest and talented at what they do, and there are shysters.

    Have fun. ^^

That sounds pretty neat-about the Reiki thing. I will definitely try it!

And good point. Hopefully these people are good at their job. I trust the gal I worked with and she likes the other people, so hopefully it goes well. I'm so excited, it's tomorrow morning!

Lol, good point! I don't plan to change my life path after this experience, lol. I definitely think it will be fun just to experience it!

It was pretty awesome! The one person I wanted to talk to was my grandpa who died when I was 13. We were really close and I loved him so much, he would take me fishing all the time and got me my first dog. Anyhow, she told me there was a man in uniform who was always with me -he served in two wars, she said she could hear jingling keys or coins -he collected coins, she said she smelled old spice -he was always well kept and i remember seeing really old bottles of cologne when I was a kid, and craziest thing... she said that he knows about something happening in June and that he will be there. At that point I could only think of my birthday, but she didn't think that was right. Then right after I left I realized it is my wedding...this coming June....

The other crazy thing, my sister went in after me. Back story-my father died when I was younger and he was not a good person. All week I kept thinking and saying, I refuse to talk or hear from you, I want this to be a good experience. I was also blocking his name the whole time she was reading me. I didn't tell my sister any of this. So...my sister goes in to talk to the medium, and she asks my sister if she knows the name Jim. My sister says yes... Then my sister said the medium seemed really confused. She said that he wanted to say something, but she kept shaking her head-my sister assumed she was confused. She asked my sister how she knew him and she said that he was my dad (we have different dads, same mom). The medium told my sister that he wanted to say hi to her, then she said, no, he wants to know if you will tell your sister hi for him. My sister didn't say anything, then the medium said he wanted to know if it was a ok that he was talking to her in order to talk to me. My sister didn't say anything again because she didn't want to hear from him either. Really weird huh?!!!

The reiki was pretty cool! So relaxing and the static feeling was so weird! The tarot card reader and the numerologist just about said the same things, so that was pretty cool!
