how to make them love not fight?

So I introduced my largest female to my hooded male. He beat her up instantly, then i put my brown male with her. After 10 mins he was kicking her around the cage. The female is about 185 n the males r 325 n 285. How do i get them to love and not fight cause its costing alot to feed the collection now that my freezer supply is gone. They are intrested in each others smells for a bit and seemed like it wasnt gone be a ufc match in the tank...

Unless they are breaking skin it sounds like normal rat play/dominance. Mine wrestly constantly and play. There are times it sounds bad but pretty normal when females/males are together.

Agreed. Mine get pretty loud. If you want them to be quite then girls only.

Sounds like males being males when females are not in heat.
It can get quite nasty when the big males are not patient for the heat cycle to begin.

Unless there is physical injury I would leave them be. If the male causes damage to the female replace him if not the whole group with weanlings and let them grow up together. My colonies do best when the girls are sisters and they all grow up together. I select a male that is a month younger than the girls to give them a bit of a head start.
