My most exciting sale of the year...!

I ended up with 1 normal male this year and after trying to figure out where he could go for over a month, finally found him a home last night.

He was originally supposed to be given to my wife's co-worker but her paranoid roommate nixed that. I tried to give him to my co-worker who expressed interest in a snake for her kids but after all of her idiotic comments about how she was going to house and care for him, I decided that was a bad idea.

I tried posting him on Facebook as free to any of my friends that would give him a good home, nothing came of that attempt. Then out of nowhere, yesterday I saw somebody on Craigslist looking for a Ball or Boa that had kept snakes before and just wanted a new pet. 5 miles away from me and he even offered $30 for him.

It's really odd how you never have to check people out that are buying $500+ snakes, cause you just assume if they're spending that much they know what they're doing. It's the normals ya gotta look out for. I feel very relieved that I found him a decent place to live and now have 1 less mouth to feed.

Thanks for letting me share. Keep comin back, it works if ya work it.

I feel your pain, I have more than a few times refused a sale because I knew the people would call me later with all types of complications or either it would end up dead. Its tough sometimes to part with any of them nomatter what the price is and especially ensure they will recieve proper care in their new home

I hear you. I give people all the information I can and give them my website/email so they can contact me with any questions. It's kind of stressful to think that they may be going to someone that has no idea. Congrats on finding him a good home!
