    What do ya think good QT tank?

    K so my new Pied our second snake is on the way and I just wanted to post some pics to see what you all thought of the QT setup. Thanks for the input

    Take the stickers off the hides and you could use a smaller water dish. But otherwise looking good!

    It looks better than mine. Mine are plastic storage containers with snap down lids, a bungie cord over the lid for a reinforcement, and holes drilled in the sides.

    Did not even think about the stickers thanks for that thought as for the water dish I went a little larger for humidity Ill get the stickers tonight

    Ah. Well, just remember that for humidity purposes you want wider, not deeper. That way there's more surface area to evaporate. Also means less chance of the snake tipping it when it's shallow and wide.

    And don't forget the foil treatment for the screen to really keep humidity stable.

    Aye Top and 3 sides covered with foil under the pretty paper the wife picked for the little girls enclosure I ws going to use black consturction paper . I will make sure to post pics when she gets here Hopefully tuseday morning the wait is killing me

    Just a though in case there are mites you could add some tangle foot around the outside top or someone said double sided tape would work. It would keep mites from leaving that tank. It is easier to treat a small controlled area than a the enclosure and room. In case... sometimes you never know.
