i have my probes on the inside of my tank. I just tape them to the bottom of the tank and hide the cords with some plants.
gives me temps under the substrate under both of my hides. I also have a ambient temp sensor in the middle of the cage. I get 78-81 on the cool side and 98 under the substrate (92 on top)
anyway.. having the probes in the tank gives me an good idea of what is going on in the tank.

Temps are fine... but is this okay I have no idea what to do to increase it to 55 ish What will I ever do when she shed... 75%... How. My moist hide maybe which is nice and moist at all times? I don't know.

Re: My setup. (PICS NOW)
For your humidity u can take a piece of plexiglass cut it so it fits inside the lip of the tank. Then cut about three in off. throw a few hinges at the bottom where the two pieces meet. And a few cabinet locks on at the top drill some air holes and glue the little piece on and pow u have a secure lid. Then turn it on it's side and ur humidity prob is gone. It cost me twenty dollars and about an hour to do mine. And it looks better than a screen lid.
