    After an escape...

My Lesser was lost for a week, but the next day ate a nice sized moise and I figured all was good. Well ever since then he's been just staying in his hides...even when I take him out he'll eventually cruise around a little but always finds a hiding place and just stays there, where before he'd usually be goin everywhere he could. I know, Balls generally stay in their hides, well this just must be one active snake because he's spent hours regularly climbin and just running around his cage but now just stays in his hides. My question is whether or not you think his adventure out into the big, scary apartment has him a little shaken, or is it probably something else (no signs of shed comin, eatin, and poopin).

No signs of it, but did kinda spring it on me last time (no real eye clouding, or really anything last time). The only thing I remember from last time was his coloring was a bit faded, but he's bright and beautiful now........I dunno, I'll just wait it out a lil longer and see if he comes outta his funk.

A hiding ball python is a happy, content, relaxed, ball python.

I would say it's a good thing. They really shouldn't be out roaming all the time, it generally means they are looking for a safe place to hide. If he's eating and hiding, I would take it as a good sign.
