    Edit: ^What he said is true. Rats are cheaper in the long run.

    Rats are a little more nutritious than mice, not to mention it is easier to feed one appropriate sized rat than it is 3-5+ mice. I start my baby balls on rats. Its easier and better for them. I don't even wanna know how many mice our 3,400g female would need to survive if she was a mouser. Then again, I doubt she would be anywhere near that big if she was a mouser.
