    My Spider 1.0 or 0.1

i got this 09' male spider as a hatchling with his first shed stuck on him. When I got him the vendor wasn't around and his wife sold it to me. She said he was a male and said she just sold the female (which was in the same display). She didn't sound to knowledgable and told me to wait for her husband to come back for most questions, which he never did. This snake has outgrown my male 08' pastel and currently weighs 1450g and after measuring with a string he is 3'8". and I only feed it small rat every week and a half to 2 weeks. I also saw it laying belly up. Im starting to wonder if its a female which would be great cuz i could make some bees. Just looking for you guys opinion.
    Thanks

its impossible to tell sex from pics. i have a male pastel thats around 1500, so size isnt always an indicator. either ask the vender to sex the snake for you, or ask your vet or someone around you who is very experienced with sexing snakes. if you purshaced the snake as a certain sex and it is not the correct sex, then the breeder may correct the situation.
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.

Yea I know you cant tell from a pic just put it up for size reference. I had no preference in sex when i purchased it so I wouldn't call the breeder 3 years later. just curious as to size of most peoples 09 males in comparison or what other people thought about it. Thanks tho

I have a Aug 2010 black pastel male that is 1200+ grams, you can't tell until you pop or probe the snake.
Male snakes occasionally lay on their sides, I'm not sure I've seen them belly straight up but I've seen a lot of males lay sideways.

    Probing

We have and male and female normal that turned out after probing that the male is female and the female is male so probing it the best bet.

Males can definitely get big. What I would do is find someone to pop the snake. If it's a male it won't take much to get sperm plugs.
