The best place for those who play guitar, or any instrument...
I have been wanting an actual loop pedal for many years. Until now I have just been using my Boss DD-20 giga delay, it works great but there little time to record a nice phrase.
I just purchased a used Boss RC-2 Loop pedal for $60! They go for around $190 new. Here is how you get these amazing deals. Go to guitarcenter.com, click on used gear, search what you want, looks for days or weeks until you find the price you like, buy it! You can have it shipped to your local GC free of charge, just pay tax, or have them ship to your house for extra. It comes with a 30 day guarantee as well. I have bought many things using this method. I rarely pay more than 1/3 of full retail price. I bought a Roland V-drum amp for my electric drum set. New it costs over $300, I paid $80 shipped! Can't beat that.
I thought I would share my excitement with those that might want something nice without having to pay too much. I'm a big gear head, I like to try a lot of things. I would go broke if I bought everything new.

Haha, I hear you. I get away with it by selling things I don't need anymore for things I think I need.

Loop pedals are great. Since I moved it's been hard to find people to make music with. This way I always have someone to jam with, myself!

I dabble, but don't use anything that requires a plug. Also I have no money for buying new equipment, lol.

Snakes usually take up my extra funds, I made an exception. I play my acoustic all the time but it's nice to be able to pulg it in and loop it when I want. Playing slide over a solid chord progression is always fun.

ive been thinking about getting a looper as well to make our jam sessions a lil more fun.just a drummer and i.bass or guitar i play.thanks for the info on using their site like that.
i love me some slide.maaan slide adds some extra depth to anything and is extremely fun when you have a slide that doesnt hinder your fret hands range and capabilities.

IDK... I'm what you might call a tube purist(been thru 4 tube amps in the last year (1 Mesa/Boogie, 2 Bugeras, and 1 Blue Voodoo) and I'm talking to a dude to see if we can deal for his Framus Cobra). I believe in and only in tube amps and Analog pedals (barely) (although lately i have been feeling some attraction towards an Axe-FX).
But still Boss has a VERY good selection and some awesome stompboxes
long live the Guitar
