To all in the northeast affected by flooding.

I live in Afton/Nineveh, Ny and the flooding is aweful. I can't go anywheres in my town as all the exit roads are blocked off, I can't even get from my girlfriends where I am now to my home as the road has about a foot of water over it. Everything is washed out and my girlfriends basement has about 5' water in it and all their belongings are ruined. I had to call into work today because I had no road to get there and I feel aweful about it as I work at a animal hospital and all my boarding dogs and cats won't be taken care off unless one of my coworkers can make it there...all bridges are closed off for precaution or just because there is water flowing over them. My grandparents house had 2' of water IN the house but were lucky enough to move all their stuff upstairs. I feel worse for them because back in the area flood of 2006 the same thing happened to them. Vestal/Johnson City/Binghamton got hit hard to and I can't imagine how they are getting around. To top it all off another storm is coming and bringing lots more rain. All I can say to anyone affected or in the area is stay inside where its safe and god bless!

Re: To all in the northeast affected by flooding.

I live in York, Pennsylvania. Roads are closed, schools are closed. Interstate 83 South was closed yesterday due to the flooding. There just seems to be no end in sight with the rain. I wish I could send all this rain to Texas where they are experiencing dangerous fires.

I live close to York PA and the rain is just madness. Unfortunately I have to go work out in it ( I deliver newspapers ) so no staying inside for me.

i live south of buffalo, we have been getting rain but not as bad as those east of us. i have had a constant amount of water in the basement but only a couple inches at most. i breed all my rats down there so it would be very bad if i get more than that.
    hope everyone stays safe

I just went into town and took some pictures. The following are the bridge and road I use to get home and to work on.
