Where can i find some pythons???
Alright so i moved to florida right after xmas and herping down here has been awsome. Been catching alot of different things but its starting to get boring. Im tired of only finding waters, vines, pigmys, and the occasional rat and swamp snakes. Im live in Sebring and theres not much else around here.
Does anyone know of good areas to find some Pythons? How far south do i really have to go? Any good roads that ill be almost certain to find a python?
Thanks

Come down by me. We have a huge population of burms and a relatively new population of african rock pythons... oh yea.. and according to Animal Planet, a cross between the two called the "Man Eating Super Snake." Honestly if I ever wanted to start working with butms I'd probably just go out and bag me some instead of paying hundreds. Breeding females are not hard to find out here lol. Theres also the occasional red tail boa. And theres a large population of Tegus, they sorta took the place of the Iguanas after we lost most of them to the freeze. And of course all sorts of turtles and tortoises, frogs, etc. etc. Everglades man. Can't walk 3 feet without seeing herps

Are there any particular dirt roads out there that im more likely to come across them? Im gonna head just south of 41 and to the west of 997.
Sorry for the questions. Its a good 3 hour drive down there from here. Were gonna go fishing at a spot next to the casino by 41 for awhile then head out from there when it gets dark. Last time i brought back some nice Jags for my tank. And my buddy already got his breeding in his. Haha. We actually came across a BP on 27 but it was DOA which really sucked. I just want to get in the back areas and look around.
