I know 99% of you on here have snake racks for your collection. As I have just started my own collection, I have not invested in building my rack yet. Soooooo, I have my balls in separate 40gal tanks. I know that keeping snakes in a rack eliminates the need for a hide box, therefore making it much easier to recognize when your pairs are locked. My question is, how necessary is a hide box for glass tanks when attempting to breed? I was thinking taking them out at night when pairing up my male and female, and replacing in the morning, or something of that sort. Anyone have any advice on this? Or breeding in glass tanks?
